Just like corporate in private sector, those in public sector are also making campus recruitments now-a-days. However, students securing jobs through campus recruitment are very less in Kerala as compared to other states. On the one hand, the recruitments are confined to the so called famous colleges in big cities and the students from our villages/ semi urban areas can’t even apply for their dream jobs. On the other hand our present educational system does not equip our students to begin their professional career as soon as they complete their studies. They fail in Corporate Interviews and Group Discussions for want of effective communication and other personality related soft skills.
